Privacy Policy
Your privacy
Last updated 30 September 2026
This policy explains what Sensei collects when you use Sensei, why, and who it is shared with. We collect only what we need to run your account and deliver your orders.
What we collect
- Account details: name, username, email address, date of birth, and optionally gender, a profile photo, bio and Instagram handle.
- Delivery details: name, phone number and address for each saved address and order.
- Activity: products you like, save or add to your bag, designers you follow, and your orders.
- Designer and brand details: submitted designs and images, and the information needed to pay you.
What we do not collect
We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by PayU on their own secure page.
How we use it
- To create and run your account.
- To process payments and deliver orders.
- To show you notifications about follows, likes, designs and orders.
- To pay designers and brands their share of sales.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
Who we share it with
- The brand or designer shipping your order receives your name, phone number and delivery address for that order only. They do not see your email, your other orders, or what you bought from other sellers.
- PayU, our payment processor, receives your name, email, phone number and order amount to process the payment.
- Supabase hosts our database and stores your account securely.
- Authorities, where required by law.
What is public
Your profile is private unless you make it public. Designer and brand profiles are public so customers can find them. Like counts are public; your saved products are visible only to you.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is closed.
Your choices
You can view and edit your profile and saved addresses at any time from your account. To have your account deleted, or to ask what data we hold about you, contact us.
Security
Access to your data is restricted at the database level so that each person can see only what belongs to them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
